The Senate Radio is back for another playoff edition episode! MDK might not celebrate Christmas, but he’ll never say no to a day off from work full of food and merriment and because of that this week’s episode is a combo with both the Week 1 Playoffs Review and a Week 2 Playoffs Preview.
SOUND OFF is back again and DJMDK is HYPED. Calling in first is Alex who’s in a much better mood because of his huge playoff win over Jordan. Even thought he know’s he got lucky, he’s pumped for his match up in the next round against Leo and his squad. DJMDK isn’t having it though and he implores him to be more aggressive in his shit talk.
Thankfully the Magic Man Leo calls in to save the segment with a blatant disrespect of Alex by not even knowing who he was playing this weekend and promising to smash him and his “lucky to even be here” band of merry men. The train goes off the track though when Leo bring up another sport that no one here cares about which leads to a rant about his teams injuries. He know’s Lady Luck has been fucking him over but he’s confident he’ll get the W this weekend.
Merino calls in next to trash Mikey who he beat down last week. He’s celebrating the fact that he didn’t start Tua in a blizzard but he knows he made the right choice. But the target of Dan’s ire is none other than The RoloNator who he faces in the next round and calls out for being a Fugazi, a label that has plagued Rolo all season long. Dan drops the hammer on his foe by guaranteeing a victory this weekend! RIDE THE FUCKING LIGHTNING!!!!
The RoloNator is back to close the show with a call that’s unlike any of his other appearances on the show. He gives props to opponent Merino for being a Fins fan and a Tua supporter. Perhaps he thinks that buttering his opponent up will help him win? But it doesn’t take long for the real RoloNator to arrive and he promptly shits on Merino’s team for being ass and promises to lay the beating of a lifetime on his in their match up. ONLY ON SOUND OFF.
