The offseason is officially over and The Senate Radio is here to give its Senators the official draft party recap! MDK mailed it in on this episode and turned the reins over to DJMDK who welcomed the Senators at the draft to his private studio for a special edition of SOUND OFF!
First off was Uncle Dave making his SOUND OFF debut by dropping a little history lesson on everyone: his name was the first name ever inscribed on the belt! This season, history repeats itself because Dave knows nothing is stopping him from winning this year! Oh and of course he had to close with a “FUCK MARCELL”
Next up is Alex who proclaims that this season his squad is going back to back! He’s confident in the team he drafted and he’s sure that they’re going to show up when he needs them most. Maybe if he wins again this year he’ll actually claim the belt he refuse to pick up from MDK all off season…
Next up is the Brazilian Bad-Ass Leo who’s fresh off a third place finish in 2022 and is ready to finish the job in 2023. He’s squad is loaded with ballers and he knows it. The team he drafted has him overflowing with confidence that season will end with him on the mountain top.
Dan Merino returns to the airwaves to rosterbate because he’s certain that his unorthodox draft strategy will finally pay dividends in 2023. Sure, some people might think that taking a TE as early as he did, but he doesn’t. He’s got supreme trust in his balls to the wall strategy and he doesn’t care if no one else does. 2022 might have ended in championship heart break but this year he’s taking home the belt. What call from Dan would be complete if he didn’t sign off with a “FUCK YOU MARCELL”
Next on the air is the one and only Michael Clinton Cabal. This call goes off the rails from the jump as Mikey admits to pinning all hopes on a QB with a questionable taste in recreational activities. Good luck with that big guy.
